RC #45 will hold an election of officers, board members, delegates and alternates on June 10, 2026 at the Hopshire Farm Brewery from 2:30 pm All RC #45 members are eligible to attend and vote; you must be present at the meeting to vote but the luncheon that follows the meeting is optional. From Our Constitution:
ARTICLE VI – BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A. The Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors shall be composed of the five (5) duly elected officers and six (6) additonal Directors from the membership.
B. The additonal Retiree Council #45 Board of Director members shall be elected by secret ballot in an electon directly following the electon of the officers, at the same meeting as the officers in a similar manner.
C. Dutes: The Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors shall: 1. Approve an annual budget. 2. Act upon expenditures as may be required; 3. Interpret the Constitution; 4. Act on policy matters for the organizaton between meetings of General membership; 5. Make policy recommendatons to the membership for their consideration; and 6. Perform all other dutes as enumerated in the Constitution.
D. The Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors shall meet at least three (3) tmes a year. Special meetings may be called by the President or by petiiton of a majority of the Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors.
