NYSUT Retiree Council 45 represents retired educators AND school-related professionals from New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) in portions of Central New York and the Souther Tier. Its mission is to advocate for the interests and well-being of retired members by protecting pensions, health care, and other benefits. The council also promotes continued engagement in social and educational issues, encouraging retirees to remain active in political advocacy and their local communities. Additionally, it provides opportunities for social connections and lifelong learning.
