RETIREE COUNCIL #45 ELECTION NOTICE FOR 2023 – 2026 OFFICER POSITIONS

RC #45 will hold an election of officers, board members, delegates and alternates on June 20, 2023 at the CNY Living History Center from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. All RC #45 members are eligible to attend and vote; you must be present at the meeting to vote but the luncheon that follows the meeting is optional. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). know by June 1, 2023 if they are interested in being a nominee or nominating anyone. The luncheon will follow at approximately 12:15 pm.

From Our Constitution:

ARTICLE VI – BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A. The Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors shall be composed of the five (5) duly elected officers and six (6) additonal Directors from the membership.

B. The additonal Retiree Council #45 Board of Director members shall be elected by secret ballot in an electon directly following the electon of the officers, at the same meetng as the ofcers in a similar manner.

C. Dutes: The Retree Council #45 Board of Directors shall: 1. Approve an annual budget. 2. Act upon expenditures as may be required; 3. Interpret the Consttuton; 4. Act on policy maters for the organizaton between meetngs of General membership; 5. Make policy recommendatons to the membership for their consideraton; and 6. Perform all other dutes as enumerated in the Constituton.

D. The Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors shall meet at least three (3) tmes a year. Special meetings may be called by the President or by petiiton of a majority of the Retiree Council #45 Board of Directors.
